We are here to support and encourage entrepreneurship that enriches and sustains our Island economy and way of life. Economic success is important but it is just one aspect to the overall measure of success. The Council also strives to maintain a social and ecological perspective helping to revitalize the rural economy while sustaining the environment.
About PEI ADAPT
The PEI ADAPT Council is a not-for-profit organization that works collaboratively with the Island’s agri-entrepreneurs to foster the sustainable production, manufacturing and distribution of Island agricultural products.
For the past twenty years, PEI ADAPT has been a catalyst in helping the agriculture and agri-food industry adapt to new challenges and opportunities and support innovative ways of doing business.
The Council is governed by an industry-led board of directors which provides oversight to help assure that its mission and goals remain strong. Their combined expertise in agriculture production, business management and Island social and cultural development helps to ensure that ADAPT continues to provide an important role in developing and supporting Island entrepreneurship.
